Exploring the Baltic Sea
Itinerary Description
This 6-day group tour will take you all around Baltics, giving you the best of the three States: Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. You will experience the historic capitals Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn all included in the UNESCO Cultural Heritage list guided by a local. The main highlights of this experience are focused on the beautiful architecture, natural landscapes and a lot of historic castles. This tour starts in Vilnius where the group will enjoy six well planned and excited days in all three Baltic States, ending in Tallinn where there will be the return flight.

Vilnius
Arrival at Vilnius airport and start half day city tour of Vilnius with a local guide who will introduce to the medieval and modern parts of this capital. Visit the Gate of dawn, the city gate and the most religious, historical and cultural monument. After that the group will visit the Cathedral of Saint Peter and Paul, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture as well as the University of Vilnius, the oldest University in the Baltic States. After dinner group will transfer to hotel.

Vilnius – Kaunas
After breakfast at hotel the group will start the day by visiting Trakai Castle, located in an island in Lake Galve. In continue the group will travel to Kaunas where they will visit the famous Kaunas Castle, a medieval fortress housing historical exhibition.

Kaunas – Siaulia – Pilsrundale – Riga
This morning will start with an exceptional buffet breakfast and transfer to Siaulia. A photo stop in the way at Hill of crosses, where people have put crosses for couple of centuries, is obligated. Next stop is Pilsrunadale where is located the famous Rundale Palace, one of the major baroque palaces. Finish the day at Riga, the beautiful capital of Latvia.

Riga
After breakfast will be taken on a Riga city tour. The old town will satisfy even the most demanding visitor, as it features cobble- stone streets and architectural gems and historical monuments such as Dome Cathedral, saint Peter’s Church and the Powder Tower. At the Ethnographic Open Air Museum, on the shores of Jugla Lake, the visitor has the opportunity to see the similarities and differences of how people used to live in the regions of Latvia. After lunch free time is given, to explore Riga at own leisure.

Riga – Sigulda – Tallinn
After breakfast depart by coach to Sigulda, where is located the famous Turaida Castle. The view from the top of the castle is breathtaking. The group will have the opportunity to visit Gauja National Park, known for its many historical structures and the beautiful landscapes. After the visit, transfer to Taliinn the capital of Estonia. The group will have there some free time for its own leisure in order to get a first touch with this unique capital.

Tallinn
The last day in the beautiful Baltics, the group will take a guided tour all around the capital. The famous Kadriorg Palace , Aleksander Nevski Cathedral and the colorful Old Town will leave the best memories. In the end group will be transferred to Tallinn’s airport for its return flight.
