Itinerary Description

This 8-day group tour will take you all around Scandinavia to for a unique experience, from its grand capitals, to the enchanting cities that have a lot to offer. The route combines popular attractions such as the breathtaking Geiranger area, the famous Briksdal Glacier and a ride with the famous train in Flam. You will stay in unique hotels around Scandinavia and you will enjoy gourmet local cuisine.     Copenhagen

    Half day city tour of Copenhagen with a local guide who will introduce you to Danish most famous landmarks. Visit Rosenborg castle, The little Mermaid, Nyhavn and Amalienborg Castle. After lunch group will check in at pier to depart by DFDS cruise to the next destination: Oslo.

    Copenhagen-DFDS cruise-Oslo

    Half day city tour of Copenhagen with a local guide who will introduce you to Danish most famous landmarks. Visit Rosenborg castle, The little Mermaid, Nyhavn and Amalienborg Castle. After lunch group will check in at pier to depart by DFDS cruise to the next destination: Oslo.

    Oslo-Otta

    After breakfast buffet on board, the group will arrive at Oslo. There will be half day guided tour to the most remarkable sights such as Viking Ship Museum, Royal Palace, Opera house and Oslo cathedral. After lunch the group will transfer to Otta. There will be a stop at lovely Lillehammer, to see a wheel-bob down the bobsleigh and luge track used during the Winter Olympics 1994.

    Otta – Geirnager fjord – Briksdal – Laerdal

    An idyllic landscape awaits on the way to Geiranger. There group will take a cruise on the UNESCO-listed Geiranger Fjord, known for the impressive waterfalls and the creations of nature. In continue to Briksdal Glacier, the group will have a unique experience to explore this glacier by open Troll Cars, best suited for panoramic views. Finish the group will be accommodated at the end of Sognefjorden, Laerdal.

    Laerdal – Flam – Bergen – Geilo

    This day will start with a fascinating flam train ride, described as the most beautiful train journey in the world. Next the group will transfer to Bergen, the old capital of Norway which lies clambering up the mountainsides overlooking the sea. Floibanen cable car is a best-known attraction in Norway with stunning view. Next stop Hardangerfjord, the second longest fjord in Norway. Words cannot describe this nature landscape. Finish they day at Geilo.

    Geilo – Karlstad

    After a breakfast buffet at the hotel, the group will travel to Karlstad. In the way there will be a lot of stops with exceptional photo opportunities as the group will pass the best lakes of Sweden. Journey will offer nature landscapes and beautiful forests until arrival at Karlstad, the city of Sweden known for neighboring Lake Vanern.

    Karlstad – Stockholm – Silja cruise – Helsinki

    In the morning the group will be transferred to the capital of Sweden, Stockholm. There will be a half day guided tour including the most famous attractions. Visit Gamla Stan, the old city, city’s famous city hall and Vasa Museum. After lunch the group will take A Silja Lines cruise to its final destination Helsinki.

    Helsinki

    Upon arrival, go on a morning guided city tour of Helsinki. Visit Helsinki cathedral, Senate square and last but not least Temppeliaukion church, built directly into solid rock also known as Rock Church. Time to leave beautiful Scandinavia. The group will be transferred to Helsinki Airport for its return flight.
